The roads matter more than your firing position in the Stranded scenario described here. Before tackling Incoming at the SAM Site, collect the proximity mines and C4 around the radar equipment, wooden crates, and central rooftops. Then check both access roads. You're preparing to stop transports before anyone climbs out, not fight another squad after it arrives. If you've been browsing MW4 Bot Lobbies, keep this campaign objective separate: success here comes down to explosives, timing, and covering both approaches through the snow.
Listen for the next truck
Dunn's callouts are your cue to move. When he identifies the left or right approach, turn toward that road and watch the transport enter your trap. Don't assume one explosion means that side is handled for good. A detonated mine leaves an opening, so replace it before the next truck reaches the same stretch. It's easy to get distracted by the wreckage or start shooting at distant enemies. Neither helps much if a fresh transport slips through. Keep checking the road that isn't currently busy, too.
Make room to prepare
You'll need a quiet compound before any of that feels manageable. Clear the defenders already at the SAM Site, including the sniper near the large statue and red billboard. Leaving that shooter alive makes collecting supplies and replacing mines needlessly awkward. There's also an optional route through the Jamming Station, where completing the side objective provides a Bomb Drone. That gives you another way to strike an arriving vehicle. Going straight to the site is the simpler route, provided you collect enough explosives and don't waste them on targets you can handle with your weapon.
Clear the perimeter before arranging explosives.
Place mines across both vehicle approaches.
Keep C4 or thermite ready for the armored arrival.
Save something for the BMP
The first four transports aren't the whole encounter. After those trucks, a BMP arrives, and treating it like another soft target can cost you the attempt. Proximity mines may damage it without destroying it quickly enough. Have C4 or thermite selected before it reaches unloading distance. With thermite, aim directly at the vehicle rather than the road beside it. With C4, be ready to trigger the charge while the troops are still inside. Don't wait for passengers to appear before deciding whether another explosive is needed.
Watch the passengers, not just the damage
The requirement is strict: every reinforcement vehicle must be destroyed before its troops unload. A smoking truck isn't enough, and destroying the BMP after soldiers emerge won't meet that condition. Keep your attention on each arrival until it's destroyed, then prepare for the next one. Anyone planning to buy MW4 Bot Lobbies should treat that as separate from this campaign challenge. For Incoming, the practical priorities remain simple: cover both roads, replenish spent mines, and reserve heavier explosives for the armored transport.
