Season 14 has made Mythic Unique farming less of a free win, but Kurast Undercity is still where serious players spend their time. The recent fix removed the guaranteed Mythic result from a Mythic Tribute of Armaments on high Torment tiers, so the tribute now boosts the odds instead. Keep the Run Alive

Torment XII isn't forgiving if the party drifts apart. You need fast clearing, decent movement, and someone who can erase elite packs before they turn into a time sink. Spiritborn builds are popular for good reason, though any build with reliable area damage can work. Once inside, focus on these jobs in order: 1. Find Grand Spirit Beacons. 2. Light them quickly. 3. Kill the Wrathful Spirits they summon. 4. Pick off Afflicted Monsters whenever they appear for timer extensions. Hit four out of four Reward Upgrades whenever possible. At that point, the timer often stops feeling like a real threat.

Why Pranksters Matter More Now

The Cave, Ziggurat, and Temple districts can blur together when the pace is high, but beacon events deserve attention in every section. Portal Pranksters are the real prize after the patch. Each one killed adds another reward chest at the end, giving the party more rolls instead of relying on one tribute to do all the work. That's the difference between a flat run and a great one. The final fight can get messy on Torment XII, so call targets, avoid standing still, and don't let one player fall behind.

A single Armaments tribute no longer promises a Mythic Unique, but a properly planned party run can still produce several of them from the final chest pile.
